Rae and Edith Bennett Travelling Scholarship
The Rae and Edith Bennett Travelling Scholarship is a scholarship awarded annually to students and graduates of the University of Melbourne to undertake graduate study in the United Kingdom.

Recipients have come from all faculties in the University, and have included visual artist Callum Cooper,〔http://www.department21.net/?page_id=323〕 Opera Australia principal artist Christopher Field, (2002)〔http://www.opera-australia.org.au/aboutus/our_artists/principal_artists/christopher_field〕 and historians Alana Harris (2003),〔http://www.eurekastreet.com.au/article.aspx?aeid=1104〕 and Benjamin Mountford (2008).〔http://www.theaustralian.com.au/higher-education/opinion/goldrush-chinese-a-rich-lode/story-e6frgcmo-1111119090207〕 Poet Judith Bishop won the award in 1994 and completed a thesis on the poetry of Yves Bonnefoy at the University of Cambridge.
